Hi,
I'm experiencing problems with the nios2eds under Ubuntu 13.10 64bit. With Ubuntu 13.10 32bit everything is just fine.
In order to get Eclipse to start, I had to install the two 32bit libraries:
libgtk2.0-0:i386 libxtst6:i386
Now that the tool is starting, somehow the NiosII toolchain support is missing. In other words I can't create a NiosII project nor switch to the NiosII perspective.
I think the core of the problem is that Ubuntu from 13.10 on left the ia32-libs behind. In order to get the QSYS running I also had to install some i386 libraries.
Has anyone solved this issue? As Ubuntu - and its derviates - are probably the most widely used Linux distributions, it would be nice to compile the needed dependencies and probably even build a meta package.
Thanks in advance!
Regards,
Steffen
