I have read through the specs but I am not far enough along in my learning to know whether the DE2 is plenty enough for my needs to pursue computer vision, animation rendering and other random projects etc. or for that 30 extra dollars should I go for the de2-115 which would be a no brainer EXCEPT that I find the ability to power the de2 board via USB VERY important/desirable...Can the de2 power multimedia hsmc cards, the touch panel modules, the 5mp camera and others? In short what is the sort of projects a de2-115 would be able to fulfill that the de2 would not. Or would it just be the performance of the projects. Examples would be appreciated. Thank you for your response or pointing me to an appropriate thread.
